Nitecore's 15% Off Sale Includes Two of the Best Travel Power Banks Right Now

Nitecore's 15% off sale is a good excuse to grab the Carbo 20 if you want the best power bank of 2026 so far, or the ultra-thin magnetic POCKET 5 if you want something lighter and simpler

Quick Take

  • Nitecore's 15% off sale gets much more interesting when it applies to the Carbo 20, which is still our favorite power bank of the year.
  • The POCKET 5 is the lighter MagSafe-style pick if you want something easier to carry every day.

Nitecore's Carbo 20 is still the travel power bank I am most impressed by this year.

Nitecore is offering 15% off right now, and if you have been waiting for a reason to buy one of its travel-friendly batteries, this is the moment I would look hardest at two models.

The first is the Carbo 20, which I still think is the best power bank of 2026 so far. The second is the POCKET 5, a much smaller magnetic option with a built-in USB-C cable that makes more sense if you want something lighter and simpler for day-to-day carry.

Nitecore Carbo 20

Nitecore Carbo 20 20,000mAh 65W waterproof power bank
At 320g, the Carbo 20 does not feel like a normal 20,000mAh laptop-capable battery.

The Carbo 20 is the one I would buy first.

This is the battery TrekSavvy already called our favorite power bank of the year, and the case for it is still pretty simple. You are getting:

  • 20,000mAh / 77.6Wh
  • up to 65W USB-C output
  • dual USB-C ports
  • pass-through charging
  • a built-in display
  • IPX8 waterproofing
  • a weight of just 320g

That last point is what makes it special. Most 20,000mAh batteries that can actually help with a laptop still feel like little bricks. The Carbo 20 feels much easier to justify carrying all the time.

Nitecore lists it at $179.95, so 15% off puts it at about $152.96 before tax. That is still not cheap, but it is a lot more interesting when you are talking about the lightest serious power bank in this class.

Nitecore POCKET 5

The POCKET 5 is the easier everyday pick if you want a thin magnetic battery instead of a bigger high-output pack.

The POCKET 5 is the other one worth calling out here.

It is a 5,000mAh magnetic power bank with a built-in USB-C cable, and Nitecore positions it as an ultra-thin option for people who do not want to carry a chunkier battery at all. It also supports wireless charging, which makes it the more casual, phone-first choice of the two.

This is obviously not trying to do what the Carbo 20 does. It is not the battery you buy for laptop backup, long workdays, or big charging loads. It is the one you buy because you want something easy to slip into a sling, jacket pocket, or small travel pouch without thinking about it.

Nitecore lists the POCKET 5 at $51.95, so 15% off brings it to about $44.16 before tax. That feels pretty reasonable for a travel-friendly magnetic battery with its own cable built in.

The TrekSavvy Take

If you only want one recommendation here, it is still the Carbo 20. It is the better product, the more impressive product, and still one of the smartest travel power-bank releases of the year.

But I like the POCKET 5 as the lighter second option because it solves a different problem. Not everybody wants a high-output battery brick in their bag all the time. Some people just want a super-light magnetic backup that is easy to live with.

That is why this sale works. It covers both ends of the travel battery spectrum pretty well.
