My default travel tech kit is intentionally boring. It charges the devices I actually bring, keeps the most important item trackable, and fixes airplane audio without becoming a pouch full of backups.

The Nomad 65W Slim Adapter is only 0.6 inches thick and has two USB-C ports. Its flat shape packs better than most charging bricks, while 65W is enough for the USB-C laptops I would realistically travel with.
Anker 2-in-1 USB-C Cable
Anker's 2-in-1 USB-C cable turns one charger port into two device connections. It is the simplest way to reduce cable clutter without losing the ability to charge a phone and accessory together.
Nitecore Carbo 20
The Nitecore Carbo 20 is the bigger item here, but its 20,000mAh capacity can cover a phone, tablet, or laptop through a long travel day. The low 320-gram weight is what earns it a place.
Twelve South AirFly Pro 2
The AirFly Pro 2 connects Bluetooth headphones to an airplane entertainment system. Its 25-plus-hour battery means I do not have to think about charging it during a normal trip.

The Nomad Tracking Card Pro stays in my wallet and works with Apple Find My. Because it lasts up to 16 months per charge, it is easy to leave packed and forget until it matters.
USB Data Blocker
A USB data blocker is a tiny fallback for public charging ports. I use a wall outlet whenever possible, but the adapter gives me a charge-only connection when that is not an option.
