This Is the Best Power Strip for Travel

I do not really recommend traveling with a power strip anymore.

Most people are carrying phones, earbuds, watches, tablets, and even laptops that now charge over USB-C. That means it is usually easier to bring one good charger and one long cable than to pack a little outlet expansion brick and all the extra clutter that tends to come with it.

That said, if you are going to bring a travel power strip, this Belkin is the best one I have seen so far.

It gets the idea right. You get two AC outlets, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, a built-in USB-C cable, and a 5-foot cord with a flat plug. That is a much cleaner setup than the usual cheap travel power strip approach, where everything feels bulky, messy, and barely worth packing.

The 70W shared output also makes this more useful than the bargain-bin versions. It feels built for the real mix people still carry on trips, especially if you need to power one old-school plug device while also topping off newer USB gear.

But I still think this is a niche travel item now. My own preferred setup is simpler: the Nomad 65W Slim Adapter plus a 10-foot Beats USB-C cable. That gets you reach in awkward hotel rooms, airports, and Airbnbs without making you build your whole charging kit around a mini power strip.

So yes, this Belkin is the best travel power strip I have seen. I just think the cleaner setup for most people is a slim charger and one really good long cable.
