This Is the Best Power Strip for Travel

The short answer is that I still would not pack a power strip for most trips. But if you want one anyway, this Belkin is the best travel power strip I have seen so far.

That is what makes it worth talking about. Most people are better off with one good charger and one long cable, because phones, earbuds, watches, tablets, and even a lot of laptops now charge over USB-C. But if your setup really does benefit from extra outlets, this is the cleanest version of the idea.

It gets the basics right. You get two AC outlets, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, a built-in USB-C cable, and a 5-foot cord with a flat plug. That is a much cleaner setup than the usual cheap travel power strip approach, where everything feels bulky, messy, and barely worth packing.

The 70W shared output also makes this more useful than the bargain-bin versions. It feels built for the real mix people still carry on trips, especially if you need to power one old-school plug device while also topping off newer USB gear.

But I still think this is a niche travel item now. My own preferred setup is simpler: the Nomad 65W Slim Adapter plus a 10-foot Beats USB-C cable. That gets you reach in awkward hotel rooms, airports, and Airbnbs without making you build your whole charging kit around a mini power strip.

So yes, this Belkin is the best travel power strip I have seen. I just think the cleaner setup for most people is a slim charger and one really good long cable.
