EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Wireless vs Anker SOLIX C300

The EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Wireless is the better power station for most people. Its battery is effectively the same size as the Anker's, but it doubles the rated AC output, accepts more than twice as much solar input, and can connect to an extra battery. Costco's Wireless Boost Combo also includes two useful phone batteries.

Choose the Anker SOLIX C300 if you will carry it often or charge laptops and other USB-C gear more than AC appliances. It is 2.36 pounds lighter and has two 140W USB-C outputs. That is a better portable charging setup than EcoFlow's single 100W USB-C port.

One naming warning: this comparison covers the AC-outlet Anker SOLIX C300, model A1722. Anker also sells a smaller C300 DC, model A1726, with no AC outlets. They are different products.

EcoFlow Is Better for AC Power and Solar

EcoFlow's 600W inverter is the clearest difference. It gives the RIVER 3 Plus Wireless twice the Anker's normal AC output, which leaves more headroom for a small coffee maker, projector, fan, or several devices at once.

Both brands advertise higher assisted-output numbers. EcoFlow's X-Boost supports certain devices up to 1,200W, while Anker's SurgePad supports up to 600W. Those modes reduce voltage for compatible heating appliances; they do not turn either unit into a full 1,200W or 600W power station. Compare the 600W and 300W rated outputs first.

EcoFlow also takes up to 220W of solar, versus 100W for the Anker. If this battery will spend time at a campsite or serve as light outage backup, the higher input ceiling matters more than it would on a desk.

The RIVER can grow too. An EB300 raises total capacity to 572Wh, while an EB600 takes it to 858Wh. The Anker C300 is a fixed 288Wh system. That is fine for day trips and charging electronics, but it gives you no upgrade path if your backup needs increase.

Anker Is Lighter and Better for USB-C

The Anker weighs 9.1 pounds, compared with 11.46 pounds for the EcoFlow station before adding Costco's two phone batteries. It is taller, but its narrower footprint is easier to fit beside a seat, under a desk, or in a packed vehicle.

Its USB-C layout is also much stronger. One 140W port handles input and output, while the second delivers up to 140W output. A third USB-C port provides 15W. The EcoFlow has one 100W USB-C port and relies on two slower USB-A ports for the rest.

That makes the Anker the better choice for a laptop-heavy setup. You can power two high-demand USB-C devices without using an AC charger, which avoids inverter losses and keeps all three AC outlets free. The built-in light bar is another useful camping detail.

The Wireless Bundle Adds More Than a Dock

Costco's RIVER 3 Plus Wireless Boost Combo includes two 5,000mAh EcoFlow RAPID magnetic power banks. Each supports 15W Qi2 wireless charging and up to 30W wired charging, and one can charge on the station's top dock without a cable.

If you do not want the phone batteries, compare the regular RIVER 3 Plus with the Wireless model before buying. The regular Plus keeps the same core power-station performance in a lighter body. The Wireless bundle only earns its extra weight if its dock will be used.

Which One Should You Buy?

Buy the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Wireless Boost Combo if you want the more capable AC power station. Its 600W rated output, faster solar input, and expansion support give it a wider range of camping and home-backup jobs. The two Costco-bundled RAPID batteries add everyday value without changing that core recommendation.

Buy the Anker SOLIX C300 A1722 if portability and USB-C matter most. It gives up half the rated AC output, but it is lighter and better equipped for charging two laptops or other high-powered USB-C devices at once.

The Bottom Line

These batteries store almost the same amount of energy, but they are not interchangeable. The Anker is the lighter USB-C specialist. The EcoFlow is the stronger, expandable AC power station.

Choose the EcoFlow by default. Choose the Anker when carrying less weight and charging directly over USB-C are more important than AC output, solar speed, or future expansion.
